Add a little more activity in your daily routine. Finding time to exercise can be a problem for those caught up in busy work routine, try to find an activity that is fun can also discourage people from working out. There are lots of ways to burn calories without taking any extra time out of your day.

  • Eat more vegetables and fruits throughout the day by making produce the focus of your meals. 
  • Don't eat crabs 6 hours before going to sleep. 
  • When you go to a supermarket, park at the far side of the car park and walk from there. Use a basket, not a trolley - it helps tone your arms.
  • Wash your car by hand, instead of taking it through the automatic car wash. This will help you to burn extra 280 calories in an hour.
  • Water in general is good for your body, but the key to burning calories is to drink it on an empty stomach. Drinking cold water on an empty stomach will make your body work to heat it up to body temperature for processing. 
  • Join in activities with kids by playing football, tag, catch or even just jumping rope, will burn calories around 80 to 137 every 10 minutes.
  • Sleeping with the room cold burns more calories than a warm one. 
  • Add onion, peppers, and garlic to your food to increase the rate of calories burned with your digestion. 
  • When waiting for a train twice a day, walk around the station for ten-fifteen minutes.
  • At work,walk to colleague’s offices and chat face-to-face, rather than emailing.

  • Drink green tea before bedtime. It boosts metabolism and fat burning.
  • Try to stand rather than to sit. It burns 36 calories more than sitting per hour. While standing, roll up on the balls of your feet and down repeatedly.
